Zefram

Zefram Cochrane first engaged with LETS GO as a 6th grader attending  Bates Middle School. There, he participated in FIRST LEGO League as a member of the Challenge Team. While on the team, Zefram fell in love with robotics. This ultimately contributed to his decision to pursue STEM in high school.

As a student at South River High School, Zefram not only participated in FIRST robotics, but was named Build Captain his senior year. In this role he developed leadership skills and a working knowledge of STEM. He was tasked with prepping for meetings, competitions, maintaining working order, and most importantly creating robots.

Zefram is currently a freshman at the University of Maryland Baltimore County where he is studying Mechanical Engineering. He credits LETS GO with fostering his interest in STEM and knowledge of robotics. He believes that LETS GO exposed him to opportunities that he would not have otherwise been provided and is the reason that he is a future mechanical engineer.
